Like the seeds we scatter, memories last forever.

Recently I was clearing up the pots and found a small oval grey rubber object in the bottom of the sink. I didn’t recognise it so I asked around if anyone else recognised it or had lost it but to no avail. So after a while, it went in the bin.

Then, a few days later, my flask mug tipped over and started leaking. Upon checking it I found it was missing a rubber bung, small and grey in colour. What else could I do but laugh😊 And it brought back a memory - of me going to a rollerskate disco on a date in my teens and whilst skating I found a wheel on the floor which I gallantly handed in to the kiosk only realising it belonged to one of my skates as I skated off.

With a slight prompt of mishap or adventure, memories are a gift that we are able to reconnect with, mull over and reflect on. I’m so glad we have so many wonderful wholesome experiences with Willoughby Wendy and little in the way of mishaps. It’s been such an amazing adventure that it’s turned into a way of living.

It’s been a busy time for us both recently which has helped as we’ve processed the process of letting go of the caravan and campervan. Even the simple act of us both going out for the afternoon visiting an optician for eye tests was a laugh and giggle that will help us have clarity of vision on our next chapter and beyond.
